One step inside this warm mountainside restaurant and you will feel like you just flew across the Atlantic Ocean and are standing in a French bistro. At Chez Henri in Sugarbush, owners Bernard and Henri have been serving authentic French cuisine since 1964.  Take off the chill next to their massive fireplace while lounging in one of their cozy, spacious booths.

Start your meal with a bowl of French Onion soup, of course! The tangy cheese is ample and the rich, dark broth beneath it is worth fighting for. You'll find the Escargots Provencal, made with garlic and nestled in a puff pastry succulent and full of flavor. Chez Henri makes a delicious Bouillabaisse, made daily using only the freshest of fish. Roasted Duck with fruit or peppercorn sauce. Hearty appetites will also enjoy: Rack of Lamb with rosemary and garlic, Steak Tartare or Veal Medallions in a cream sauce, Calvados and Portabella Mushroom sauce. Daily Chef Specials also complement this well- rounded menu.

And it wouldn't be a French restaurant without fine wine and a full service bar. Bartenders Jack and Peter will gladly mix your favorite winter drink.

The Frenchmen know how to make desserts an event. Try their Chocolate Mousse Cake, Homemade Crème Brule, Cream Caramel Flan, Chocolate Caramel, Meringue, Cheese Plates or their delicious Mango Cheesecake.

Chez Henri located in the SugarBush Village at the base of Lincoln Peak, just over the covered bridge. Open everyday for lunch at 11:30 am and serving dinner seven nights a week beginning at 5:30pm. Chez Henri closes mid April for the season and reopens in mid December.
