The Black Door in Montpelier invites you to sample an exciting new menu of authentic Spanish Mediterranean cuisine. Chef and owner Igancio Ruiz is bringing dishes straight from his native Madrid to downtown Montpelier. He invites you to sit down in a relaxed and playful atmosphere and treat yourself to the simple, homemade dishes he grew up with.

Dishes include Spanish Meatballs made with pork and beef in a red wine reduction or Seafood Stew, with fresh squid, shrimp, mussels, and clams simmered with saffron, white wine and garlic. Or try their mouthwatering burger with avocado aioli. The dishes are simple and authentic and the ingredients are fresh!

And everything is homemade! From soups to sauces to salad dressings to delicious, mouth watering desserts..

How about some homemade sangria? The Black Door boasts 17 beers on tap, and over a dozen hand selected wines.

Authentic Spanish Mediterranean cuisine at the new Black Door and Bistro in downtown Montpelier. Open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5 to midnight, and Fridays and Saturdays 5 to 2.
